Sir Bobby Robson RIP

The word “Legend” is used way to much for people who don’t really deserve that label. Today though we lost a real “Legend”. Sir Bobby Robson lost his brave battle against cancer today, only 5 days after appearing on the St. James Park pitch before the “Sir Bobby Robson Foundation” charity match between England and Germany. That just shows what kind of man Sir Bobby was…. Still fighting right to the end. I know if i was in his position, i would have been laid up in bed, but not Sir Bobby. Him and his family must have known he was close to the end, but he still couldn’t miss his own charity foundations football match. continue reading »

My Favourite Childhood TV Shows

Growing up as a young kid i had my favourite TV shows that i just couldn’t miss. Below i have listed my favourite TV shows from the early 90′s.

1) Funhouse - Presented by Pat Sharp. This was a fun show which saw teams compete against other and involved go-kart racing and a huge “Funhouse” where they had to get through loads of obstacles.

Amazing Photos of The Apollo Landing Sites

40 Years ago today, man first stepped on the moon in what can only be described as the most amazing human achievement ever.

I would do anything to have been able to watch that moment live on TV and experience the excitement felt by people all around the world. It will probably be another 10 years or so until we return to the moon, and for those that didn’t experience it in 1969, i think it will be just as exciting. Mars is another story, but that will just blow our minds when Nasa finally put a man there in 20-30 years time. continue reading »

Software I Used For Years But Not Anymore

Like millions of people around the world today i use popular software programs like iTunes, Photoshop, Firefox and Microsoft Word on a daily basis. But its weird to think back to when i first went online in 1998 with Freeserve when my software habits were very different.

Back then i still had a selection of software programs that i used on a daily basis, but 11 years on i use none of them now and haven’t done for years.
