As a kid growing up my favourite film bar none was, The Goonies. I just couldn’t get enough of it. My dream was to be one of the Goonies, but unfortunately that never happened.
As i grew up, the film would come on TV every few years and i’d watch it again and again and never tire of it, and only last year i got the DVD for my son and now he loves it aswell.

At the World’s Ugliest Dog Competition at Sonoma-Marin Fair in California, Miss Ellie, a pure breed Chinese crested hairless from Tennessee walked away with the title.
Miss Ellie, is reported to be around 15 years old, and by the looks of the photo below, she well deserves the title.

The 2018 World Cup hasn’t even been awarded to a specific country yet, but already the battle is on for a number cities around England to be the host cities where the football matches will be played.
There’s a number of cities that are almost 100% to be selected like London and Manchester (Wembley and Old Trafford), but then you have bids from cities like Newcastle and Sunderland where it gets a bit trickier. continue reading »

I know i’m in the minority here, but i really wasn’t a fan of Michael Jackson or his music, although “Man in The Mirror” was an alright song. But i do still feel a bit of shock with the news of his death, but at the same time this is Michael Jackson…. He was never going to die of natural causes in his 70s, 80s or 90s. He’s lived his life in his own imaginary world, and unfortunately it has come to a premature end way before his time which is hugely sad. continue reading »

With the weather being so nice right now, i took my son to the Mouth of the River Tyne at Tynemouth and had a little walk along the river side.
While i was there i took a number of panoramic photos using my dedicated panoramic tripod head which allows me to easily take a number of different photos all in a line, and at the same time keep the camera in exactly the right position to get the best results for a panoramic photo.
